This woman comes with a ton of experience in home health care. Having worked with dementia seniors, she has love and compassion for the elderly. Looking for consistency and a team environment she is now part of the WSDCC ohana.

​Activity Coordinator

Originally from the Midwest, Lori brings a high level of experience and knowledge in exercise and body movement. Having cared for her father, she possesses compassion and understanding of senior and their needs. We are grateful to have her on our team.

Food Program Coordinator/Custodian

​​This gentleman comes to us with a wealth of hospital and home health experience. Nic has great skills and an understanding for elderly care, and never fails to make them laugh. He is also a musician and possesses a creative and detail oriented mindset.

Leonida was our dependable Saturday caregiver, who has now switched to working during the week. She has much experience in home health care; she knows exactly how to provide comforting care.

Rose comes to us from a long and successful career in private, in-home caregiving. She made Hawaii her home after marrying a military man and raising her family. Rose is full of energy, laughter and always brings something delicious to share at lunch!

Savannah is our newest team member. She is a quick learner and has taken on the responsibilities of running our food program very smoothly. Delicious and nutritious meals are supplied and implemented with her on the food program team.

Dolores "Dolly"
Caregiver

On staff since 2005, Dolly is a beloved staff member who enjoys one-on-one time with the participants, particularly during the morning with the anticipation of welcoming arrivals. She is a mother, grandmother and has personal experience as caregiver for her sister.

Windward Senior Day Care Center is a non-profit organization under the guidance of community leaders and who serve on the volunteer board of directors.

Nicola "Nickie" 

Floor Supervisor & Caregiver  

A former surgical technician, Nickie comes to WSDCC with extensive hospital knowledge and experience. Having cared for her own mother until end of life, she recognized a passion for seniors and a willingness to assist. Compassion and strong decision making skills make her a great bridge of communication between the center and the families we serve.

Center Cat

Patches is our beautiful tabby that came to the Center skinny and wild. She soon found her place, had kittens, and is now our official security guard. You can find her sitting by the front door or laid out by the gate. She's friendly, so be sure to show her some love.
